Purpose
This application is a private Google OAuth integration used by the site owner with a privately operated Home Assistant installation for personal home automation.
Google user data accessed
The application may access only the Google services and permissions that the account owner explicitly authorizes on Google's OAuth consent screen. The exact data available to the application depends on the scopes granted by the account owner.
How data is used
Authorized Google data is used only to provide the Home Assistant functionality requested by the account owner. It is not used for advertising, profiling, resale, or unrelated purposes.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials and any integration data that must be retained are stored within the owner's private Home Assistant environment or associated local configuration. Reasonable steps are taken to restrict access to that private environment.
Sharing
Google user data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising, marketing, or unrelated commercial purposes. Data may be transmitted to Google as necessary to use Google's APIs and authentication services.
Retention and deletion
Authorization can be revoked at any time from the account owner's Google Account security settings. Local OAuth credentials and integration data can also be removed from the private Home Assistant installation.
Limited Use
The application's use of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing the user-facing functionality described above and is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
